The product works perfectly and it is even more powerful than expected (it can decode full size PAL divx with 50% of cpu usage... much better than the old C3 processor)

Sehr gutes Mainboard . Läuft bombenstabil bei mir unter Linux , Treiber waren kein Thema , alles standardmässig drin .. Einziges Problem bei mir war dass ich am Anfang kein Link auf der Netzschnittstelle zustande bekam . Nach längerem Suchen ( Treiber , Tests etc ) habe ich dann herausgefunden dass sich die Stromsparmassnahmen des Mainboards mit denen meiner FritzBox beissen ( 7140 mit neuster Firmware und Abschaltung der Lan Ports beim Nichtgebrauch ) . Eine defintive Lösung gibt es noch nicht , ich darf meine Maschine nicht länger als 24 Stunden auslassen sonst lässt die Fritzbox kein Link zu . Falls dies dann doch mal passiert , tausch ich hinten an der Frtzbox die Lan Kabel meiner beider Rechner und alles läuft wunderbar :-)

Dieses Board ist ideal für den Einsatz als besonders leises 24/7 System - geringer Stromverbrauch, keine Geräuschentwicklung (außer Festplatte), akzeptable Leistung. Ich setze das Board derzeit als Home Control Center unter Fedora Linux ein, was allerdings dem System seine volle Leistung abverlangt. Unter Volllast reicht die passive Kühlung des Prozessors leider nicht aus, weshalb ich einen "Notlüfter" einsetzen muss, der allerdings nur sehr langsam seine Arbeit tut und damit auch nahezu unhörbar ist. Das HCC erledigt dabei folgende Aufgaben:
- Steuerung der Zentralheizung
- Alarmanlage
- ISDN Capi Server
- zentraler digitaler Videorecorder
- Media Server für Videos, Musik und Photos
Zusatzausstattung:
- externe Festplatte (750GB)
- Fritz! Card USB v2.1
- Hauppauge WinTV PVR-USB2
