Successor of Intel D945GCLF Mainboard. Differences :
- TV-Out (S-Video)
- Dual Core Atom CPU

The Atom-CPU is a perfect basis for a low-cost system. It works very energy saving and therfor is perfect for mobile usage. But also can be used as a server, Car-PC or Multimedia solutions.

Atom-CPU mainly was developed for the upcoming „Mobile Internet Devices“ (MID), which are fielded between notebooks and cell phones. „The processors were equipped in 45nm production with the worlds smallest transistors“, said Intels Vice President Sean Maloney.

As IT-world currently is crying for „GreenIT“ schreit, this mainboard can be the answer. For example Intel was able to reduce the power consumption of the CPU from precessor D201GLY2 from 20W to 2.05W, which is really incredible ! Here other mainboards can not compete with !

For Operating you need a P4 adapter or a PSU with P4 connector

Ein Super Teil!! 1+ Verarbeitung und Leistung entsprechen meinen Vorstellungen. Habe ein System mit einem Voom-Gehäuse, 2GB Ram, 60GB HDD 2,5" und das M2 ATX Netzteil aufgebaut. Als Betriebssystem habe ich WinXP-Professional mit SP3. Als benutzeroberfläche nutze ich natürlich ICT außerdem habe ich noch Navi-Software von Navigon und einen USB DVB-T Stick von TerraTec. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei und ruckelt auch nicht wenn Navi und Musik zur gleichen Zeit laufen.

obwohl ich kein Freund von grossen Lobhudelein bin, muss ich einfach mal hervorheben wie positiv überrascht ich von den Produkten (ausser diesem Board habe ich eine Stromversorgung picoPSU-90 erworben) als auch der Abwicklung meiner Bestellung bin. Sowohl die stetige Benachrichtigung meines Auftrages, dei zweckmässige und sicher Verpackung der Versandabteilung, als auch der gewünschte Effekt der Produkte. Jeder erhofft sich etwas anderes, und da ich vom Prinzip her alle Anwendungen auf meinem System laufen lasse, ausser Spielen, ist dieses Mainboard völlig ausreichend an Geschwindigkeit - allein der Grafikkartenlüfter nervt etwas und wenn es möglich ist, werde ich auch hier auf einen passiven Kühler wechseln
