| Problems ? |
In case you have problems while visiting our site, then this can be caused by the settings of your web-browser.
Our pages are optimized for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. However other browsers of course will also work, but may show some graphical differences.
HTTP is a stateless protocol. This means that an information (like the content of the shopping cart, a selection in systembuilder, etc...) also has to stay
available after next reload or on the next page, then this has to be solved technically in addition to the HTTP protocol.
This happens on our site by the help of so-called "cookies". Cookies are nothing more than small text files which are stored on your computer. In these files there is saved
an randomly generated ID which is needed by our server to identify your browser while moving through the pages in order to retain your unique visiting informations (like the shopping cart)
(when you close your browser, then the number gets deleted).
And here is where often lies the problem : If your browser is configured on a too restrictive manner (he denies the cookies), then many parts of the site will not work
as they should.
Another utility used on many parts of our site is JavaScript. This is a small and simple scripting language, which adds some "enhancements" which would not be possible (like preview
pictures in the system builder, nicer looking selection and confirmation buttons, etc...).
You also are able to browse through our site with deactivated Javascript, but will notice, that some parts are only hardly or hindered useable.
The Allowance of Cookies and Javascript is handled in the configuration section of your browser. Below you will find some exemplarily notes for
Internet Explorer 6 and Mozilla Firefox.
|
| Internet Explorer 6 |

Under "Extras", "Internet options", "Data privacy" the cookie handline is steered. For visiting our pageds you can set the lever to setting "High".
If you run into problems anyway, then setting back to "Medium-high" is possible also.
Under "security" the allowance of JavaScript is controlled. Set the lever to "Medium" here.
|
| Mozilla Firefox |

Under "options", "data privacy" you will find a caption called "Cookies". Set a check on "Allow cookies" here.

You also can check the configuration of your router. Todays DSL-router are capable of blocking cookies. Also, a mis-configured proxy can
be a cause of problems.
