The CTFGPS-1 GPS receiver features the new chipset Sony CXD2951GA-4, is waterproof and has a magnetic and rugged case bottom. The integrated highly sensitive GPS Aaerial gives you a maximum receiption quality.
The connection cable can be enlarged up to 5 meters for optimal placement of the receiver. The integrated USB-to-Serial bridge eases usage. For installation you only need a small USB driver.

Excellent GPS receiver. Plugged into one of my demo machines and picked up satellites very quickly, even inside my building. Good value for money and comparable in performance in my opinion to the SIRF3 chipset. Sony alwys make quality kit but in this case it doesnt seem to mean a higher price! Keep up the good work.

it works fine. realy water resistant even with big rains and in the car wash. the magnet is hard and doesnt go of even with 260 klm speed. mine is placed on the roof of the car outside.
Die GPS Maus ist der Traum. Einfach per Magnet an die Karosserie anbringen, sei es drinnen oder draußen (hab es im Kofferraum). Aber Achtung bei dem installieren einer Software, die kann nämlich einem sämtliche Nerven rauben.
