Replacement for 2.5" hard disk drives, 44 pin IDE connector. The 44 pin connector includes power. Designed for use in notebook drive trays or with a 44 pin cable. Four M3 screw mounts from below. Master / slave configured by cable select (remove R1, install jumper to hardwire for master).

Nutze diesen Adapter in einem alten Laptop um die HDD zu ersetzen, funktioniert prima. Schnelle CF Karte sollte man allerdings schon haben, macht sonst nicht so viel Sinn.

Exactement de la taille d'un disque 2 pouces, et avec une connectique semblable, cet adaptateur peut aussi bien remplacer un disque dur dans un portable, que permettre de faire tourner un pc sous compact flash (silence et vitesse assurés).

Works OK on my Samsung X15 laptop. Do not forget wiring jamper 2 to enable Master mode. I was forced to do it with simple copper wire. However, a connector included in the package would be a more convenient way out :-(, which is not the case with CFDISK.2. 32M Transcend x133 card reached 17M/sec average transfer rate. DMA4 mode is limited by CF card only. I think new x266 CF cards could easily show ATA-66 speed on CFDISK.2. Windows XP SP3 was installed on the CF card without serious problems except for bugs with partioning. I would recommend formatting CF-card as one FAT32 volume (without partitioning) before Windows installation.
This Product is what i was needed for. I placed it on the IDE slot and now i am using it (with a compact flash) like a hard disk on my Laptop in my boat. No break downs, no nothing.It is excellend. Thank you a lot.
