Nice little computer. I plan to use it as a firewall with dhcp server and local DNS server. The dual port are well suited for that.
I installed Ubuntu server 14.04LTS for that. I had to add the option "video=LVDS-1:d" to the linux boot parameter otherwise the screen switched to black during the boot process. I didn't try Ubuntu Desktop.
The device is hot, even when Linux is idle. I guess it's because the exteral heat exchanger is minimal.
I removed a star because there are only two screws to attach the SSD disk and the device gets a little too hot.
