What is the brightness of the tft? 400 cd/m2 and 200 cd/m2 are both stated in the specification.

Is the vga connector at the rear?

I will mount this in a boat as a navigation screen and I will never flip the tft flat against the roof because there is not enough space between the window and the roof hatch! The problem is that the case where the screen flips into needs to be shorter! I need to cut away the part between the hinge and the control panel and put them close to each other so it will fit. Is it only wires going from the hinge to the control panel at the front or is it a big pcb full of electronics?
