USB touchscreen problem CTF840

Hi!
I have a problem with CTF840 when connected with extension cable to a pc. When i connect it directly it works fine, but when i use the extension (http://www.cartft.com/catalog/il/651?ci=10) the computer cannot recognize USB device. I think it could be current problem. What can i do?
I also saw you sent the instructions how to disable built-in USB hub to another member of the forum. I could use that too.

Hello,
I have the same problem, i downloaded the latest version drivers for all my hardware including the touchscreen, but it did not solve the problem. All other USB devices work properly, so it is a hardware problem of the CTF840.
I have Windows XP Home installed. When i connect the CTF840 the touchscreen device is not reconized. I tried to disable the USB Legacy Device in the BIOS but this is not possible in the bios of my Acer CarPC. Does someone have a solution for my problem? Otherwise i will send it back to CarTFT.com.
I will send this topic also to CarTFT.com. When they have a solution i will post it here.
