Touchscreen functionality not working completely in Ubuntu 11.10
By: sdjoshi Rank: Starfleet Ensign Postings: 3 From: n/a	Posted: So Jan 29, 2012 - 08:04 Hi all, I have been trying to make CTF1020-WC touchscreen with Ubuntu 11.10 but the drivers are not available on the website. So i found the drivers from outside and then installed eGalaxTouch but instead of enabling the touchscreen it just allows me to partially make use of the touchscreen. I am able to click only what the mouse is pointed at and not where i am actually touching on the screen. i have been stuck with this for over a week but have not been able to figure out a way to solve this. Can anyone please guide me as to what can i do to enable the touchscreen functionality completely?
By: CarTFT Rank: Starfleet Commander Postings: 86 From: GERMANY	Posted: Mo Jan 30, 2012 - 10:04 Can you test the display with a WindowsPC to test if it is a driver problem ? Also it might help to put a passive USB hub between touchscreen and PC.

I am currently installing Windows 7 to check. I have also tried installing it on Fedora 16 but it is the same as Ubuntu. The next OS in the line is Mandriva 2006 which has supported driver on the website if Win7 fails. And i will try to putting the USB hub.
