Dieses Produkt hat alles was man zu einem Multimedia Home Computer braucht. Es bietet alle gängigen Anschlußmöglichkeiten wie HDMI, 6 USB, VGA, DVI, 100/1000 LAN, Externen SATA Anschluß, Sound, WLAN. Aber ein wirklicher Heighlight ist die externe Stromversorgung. Dadurch ist es möglich dieses ohnehin schon kleine Schmuckstück in ein winziges Gehäuse einzubauen und es zu einer Augenweide zu verwandelt oder unscheibar zu verstecken. Durch den NVIDIA ION Chipsatz und einen Dual Core Atom Prozessor mit 1.6 GHz hat er ausserdem genügend Power für gängige Anwendungen und vieles mehr. In Verbindung mit einem Multimedia Betriebssystem wie linuxMCE kann aus dieser Plattine und etwar einem BlueRay Player ein echter Ersatz für einen Desktop PC werden. Dadurch das er recht viel Power hat. Kann man in Verbindung mit Modernen Linux Ditributionen, Anwendugen, Multimedia oder nicht, parallel Ausführen ohne eine Störung des Workflows zu verspüren. Einziges Minuspünktchen ist die fehlende Infrarot Schnittstelle, die das bedienen des Gerätes mit einer Fernbedienung ermöglichen würde. Habe mir also eine nachgekauft für 8 euro und bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Zotac.

Lüfterlos wie in der Beschreibung Betreib ich es nicht, ist mir doch zu Heiß Geworden. Getestet hab ich windows XP Lief ohne Probleme Danach Windows 7 was auch weiterhin drauf ist.
MKV 720p werden ohne Probleme Abgespielt, Bei MKV 1080p Hatte ich leichte Probleme mit verzerrrungen. Könnte aber auch codec liegen.
Spiel hab ich getestet Boarderlands Ein Ziemelich aktuelles Spiel. Welches in geringer Auflösung und low details auch gelaufen ist.

Great board with everything you'll ever want in a silent but powerful video playback system. For my application as a HTPC with an M350 box it simply rocks! Sure it is nor the cheapest board around but in my experience if you buy cheap you often buy twice. Minor criticism: Very bright blue LED on the bottom side of the board. A little annoying at night.

Just the thing you'll want to get if you are building a silent HTPC with HD capabilities. It has everything you'll ever need and more. I particularly like the fact that it has an electrical as well as an optical digital sound output port.

I purchased zotac to serve as mythtv frontend (linux client). All necessary requirements to fulfill this task succesfully seems to apply: video & audio through hdmi works great and zotac itself won't produce any noise (no fan installed, usb stick used as hard disk).
I'm not sure about possible heating issues though, but if it seems to be an issue then I will put Zotac to an some silent mini-itx case (there is no case at the moment).
