This barebone was designed for industrial environments. The system can be used for 24/7 operation. The barebone is long term available (5 years).

For a full PC you need in addition :
- 2.5" HDD/SSD or CompactFlash
- SO-DDR2-RAM
- 19VDC or 24VDC power source

The enclosure can be operated fully fanless with the D2963-S1 even under full load in continous operation. But an enclosure fan is included in scope of supply which can get connected to the mainboard in case the enclosure is installed in an area with limited air flow or when using a PCI card with appropriate specifications.
