Der Adapter ist ein unbedingtes Muss, damit man den carPC auch zuhause betreiben kann. Preisintensiv.

Diesen Stecker solltet ihr unbedingt kaufen, wenn ihr euch auch ein Voom Gehäuse zugelegt habt oder zulegen wollt. Preis ist zwar etwas hoch, allerdings lässt sich so ohne viel Bastelei schnell mal der CarPC im Haus betreiben oder externe Stromzufuhr im Auto angeschlossen werden.

Does the job, although it could benefit from a better -and more secure- construction and assembly (i.e. some thermal insulation or cabling).

nice little gadget that allows you to update your computer away from car or boat at home. Unfortunately my computer suddenly showed irregular power failures which turned out to be a bad wire connection problem in the Voom home power adapter.
Irritating but simple to overcome, works good now.
