The VIA C3 processor with 1000 MHz has a fan and is already mounted hard on the board and therefor not changeable
The 40-mm-fan makes noises at about 2,9 Sone / 38,9 dBA.
The onboard AGP-graphics-adapter uses between 8 and 64 MB of the main-meory as graphic memory.
For proper DVD-Playback, a MPEG2-decoder-chip is installed.
The S/PDIF-Output can be switched into Cinch-TV-Output-mode. The third and fourth USB-ports, both FireWire-ports, and the second serial port are available only with an optional adaptercable.

No problem in a rough use (desert-sand and stones) : UPC is installed under my seat : dust and vibrations but all functioned well. I have installed windows XP which well works with this mother board
