Das Board wird in einem NAS eingesetzt (Ubuntu 11.10, headless OS)
Die Performance ist dafür gut ausreichend. Beim testweisen Betrieb mit X-Server (Unity) fiel auf, dass die GPU nicht voll unterstützt wird (keine Hardware-Beschleunigung der Graphik). Einen Hersteller-Treiber konnte ich nicht finden, habe aber auch nicht sehr lange gesucht.
Der Stromverbrauch ist erwartungsgemäß recht niedrig (System mit fünf Platten: idle < 30W, Vollast < 50W)
Wer Multimedia-Unterstützung z.B. für einen HTPC braucht, muss eventuell zu Windows greifen (oder mehr Zeit in die Linux-Treibersuche investieren)
Das Board scheint unter noch nicht ganz nachvollzogenen Umständen manchmal den Bootvorgang zu verweigern, wenn kein Display angeschlossen ist (was für ein Headless-System nachteilig ist).
Das lässt sich aber wahrscheinlich mit BIOS-Einstellungen hinbekommen.
Fazit: Eine Board, dass meine Erwartungen gut erfüllt, von dem aber keine Wunder erwartet werden dürfen

Great choice for an entry level HD media centre or for a high-end,low cost carpc.with a bigger screen on the back as a second monitor for movies and games one can really take advantage of the hd capability of this motherboard.also,so-dimm are cheap ate the moment ;-)

Hallo.Wollte Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 mit SP3 aufspielen .Leider wird die Festplatte nicht erkannt.Bei XP.
Bei Windows 7 läuft alles bestens.Mfg

Best non-compromise solution for a variety of embedded solution. Based on this board, I built a kitchen PC - internet radio, youtube, cook-books for my wife, local movies and music, etc.
Additional modules used: wifi+bluetooth miniPCI-e adapter, 4Gb DDR3 1066MHz memory bank, 240Gb SSD, wireless keyboard, IR PC remote control, small (185x200x60 cm) metal mini-ITX case + 18.5'' monitor.
Together with SSD the system is completely silent, no moving parts, boots very fast: 5-6 sec. for booting BIOS + 6-8 sec. for ArchLinux with LXDE, overall less than 13 sec. from pressing the power button to the completely working environment. WiFi connection is a bit slower - completely working after ~30 seconds after the pressing the power button, but this is still a very good performance.
The system is capable of HD 720p playback (I didn't tested 1080p), so no problems with watching hi-quality movies or Internet streams. No problems with cooling so far - the radiator can be touched by hand, the temperature approximately 40-60 degrees, depending on the load.
Probably in future after a kitchen test-drive I will put it (or buy a new one, exactly the same) to my car.
