VoomPC car PC enclosure
The voomPC(TM) automotive (car, boat, electric cart) enclosure is a small, rugged car PC (carputer) enclosure designed to work in harsh enviroments such as dust and high temperatures. Made our of massive 5.5mm extruded aluminum profile, the voomPC(TM) car PC (carputer) encloure was designed to work with any type of mini-ITX motherboard (170x170mm) from fanless configurations such as VIA mini-ITX or Pentium or low power Pentium-M processors, making it the ideal car PC solution. This car PC / carputer enclosure is specifically designed to work with the M1-ATX car PC automotive power supply series, sold separately, scroll below for more information.

This is great case for CarPC. The whole case if made from aluminum and it is heavy! If you want to have good solid case for car use - you will be very happy when you have it!

Compact and easy to install eg under the seats. M2-atx psu mounts directly into this box

Sehr gute Verarbeitung und Passgenauigkeit der Komponenten.
Dadurch, daß die Oberseite des Gehäuses gleichzeitig als passiver Kühler fungiert, etwas schwerer als erwartet. Der 40mm Lüfter ist störend laut, kann allerdings leicht ersetzt werden (z.B.: NOISEBLOCKER 40x40x10 BlackSilent Fan XM2).

Good quality, price a little steep - in my opinion worth every penny.
Recommend replacing the fan in front with Papst 412/FM or similar, bearing in the supplied one is extremely poor.
Excellent thermal transfer rating, even for systems giving off a lot of heat (non-mobile CPU's like Pentium Dual Core).
Also ich mus ehrlich sagen dass ich so meine Zweifel hatte als ich dieses Gehäuse in meinen Händen hatte. Da sollen Mainboard, Netzteil und Festplatte rein? Ich staunte nicht schlecht. Genau das hat da drin Platz. Das Gehäuse bietet auch noch für 3 Lüfter Platz welche ich für meine Konfiguration (M2-ATX, Core2Duo, Zotac9300ITX) alle ausnutzen musste. Das Beste Gehäuse für einen CarPC!
