The M300-Enclosure is a versatile mini-ITX enclsosure designed for embedded applications where CDROM drives are not required. The M300-Enclosure fits any type of mini-ITX board with standard back I/O shield. Not recommanded for EPIA 800, EPIA 5000 and EPIA CN series because of the different USB header pinout. The M300-Enclsoure will work with up to two IDE or SATA 2.5" disk drives (disk drive cable adapter not included).

Nice enclosure, just be careful with the fragile hooks on the plastic front.
I have mounted the box with a VIA EPIA-SN18000G, C7, DDR2, PCI-Ex16 motherboard. This motherboard has Compactflash and mini PCI connectors on the underside. There was no room for the connectors, so I modified the box and made a new back plate to raise the PCB 3 mm.
I have not found direct documentation for the internal USB connection board. But all in all a nice compact box.
When mounted vertical and also containing a 2,5" harddisk, and a picoPSU and with the fan speed reduced to 2700 rpm (low noise) the air outlet is only 36 degrees C.

das gehäuse ist super klein und leicht. genau das was ich gesucht habe. einziger nachteil: der CF->IDE adapter kann kein DMA (zumindest nicht unter linux) was die datentransferraten schnellerer CF-karten sehr drückt!
Nice case for a good price, the small door on the front with the CF to IDE adapter came very handy for my build. It's not very sturdy, particularly because of the plastic tabs that hold the outer shell together with the case skeleton. I'm worried they'll break if I open and close the case often. Hopefully that won't be necessary. The decision to include a 4000 rpm small 40 mm fan is not a very wise one in my opinion since a slower and quieter 70 mm fan fits perfectly. I cut two holes on the case and instaled two 70x70x15 fans (one in, one out with an air guide beteewn them) in the same place were previously one 40 mm fan resided. It's much more inconspicuous now and the Intel D201 motheboard inside runs much cooler.
