The CID650 Display for the Doppel-DIN-slot has some exiting features :
- Built-In Slot-In DVD drive, which gets connected with your carpc via USB.
- Power- and Reset-button in the front, which can be connected with your carpc.
- The display can be adjusted in height motorized.
- Rear camera sensor cable for automatic switching to rear camera.
- Integrated 4x25W amplifier with AM/FM Radio
The CID-650 can be connected to every PC with VGA- and USB connectors.

nice unit,does exactly what its supposed to do.
it may require some modifications to your fascia adapter to allow this unit to sit flush in your dash but its not hard.
The built in amp is quite good,it has lots of bass and treble that are easily adjusted.
Im pleased with mine!

user interface and haptics extremely poor.
radio lacks rds (af, tmc, ta ...), scanning takes forever. amplifier lacks even the simplest adjustements like a simple equalizer, balance, fade,...
screen can not be switched off without switching off the amplifier as well. (e.g. movie for kids in the rear seats should not be visible on the front monitor)
fans are exteremly noisy.

Das Gerät arbeitet zuverlässig. Kein Radioschnickschnack. Fernbedienung ist praktisch.
Die Anzeige von normalen Windowsanwendungen jenseits der 800x600 ist allerdings nicht sehr sinnvoll.
Dauerhafter Gebrauch des DVD Laufwerkes war bislang ein kleines Problem, entweder lag es an der Stromversorgung oder am Gerät, DVD fällt gelegentlich weg. Wenn der Wagen in der kalten Garage gestanden (übernachtet) hat, ist der Lüfter des Gerätes leider anfangs sehr laut.
Bei meinem MX5 gibt es leider irgendwo eine Masseschleife, es brummt drehzahlabhängig. Das Gerät allerdings überzeugt durch klare Anzeige, Vollmotorisierung. Nachteil: im MX5 ist leider wenig Platz zum verlegen der Kabel.

Pity the touchsreen don't arrive exactly at the edges. Pity there is no RDS. But afterALL works fine.
