This TFT monitor is connected to a Windows PC USB connector. The display is working as an additional display which can be added to the main display area on the left, right, upper or lower. Alternatively it can mirror the primary screen. The display can be swiveled in steps of 90°.
In addition, the UM-740 model comes with touchscreen and a microphone. It also has an earphone-output, which gets connected to the PC.

Hell, praktisch, klein...einfach perfekt.
Touch, Webcam, Mikro und eingebaute Speaker funktionieren hervorragend. Außerdem ist das USB Prinzip sehr praktisch wenn man keine Anschlüsse mehr frei hat. Dafür kann man auf dem Ding keine Videos schauen bzw. hat halt nur 5-10 FPS.

Was heißt Zusatzmonitor?? Läuft der auch allein oder muss ein anderer TFT am VGA Port hängen?
Falls der allein als USB Monitor reicht eröffnet das ja wieder völlig andere Perspektiven beim Einbau der Komponenten.

Budget price monitor, very simple to use, great color.
Der Preis schien gut, die Funktionalitaet umfangreich und die Größe optimal. Doch dann musste ich lesen, dass man den Nanovision MIMO UM 740 nur als zweitmonitor verwenden kann. Daraufhin war ich enttaeuscht, da ich vor hatte diesen als Monitor im Auto zu verwenden. Ich war ziemlich skeptisch. Als ich das Geraet erhielt war die Freude groß. Ausgepackt angeschlossen installiert und es funktionierte nicht. Schließlich installierte ich die neuesten Treiber manuell und es funktionierte dann auch. Es existieren sogar Windows 7 Treiber für den MIMO UM 740. Außerdem konnte ich mit den neuen Treibern auch den Touchscreen justieren. Ich nutze Windows 7 im Auto und muss sagen, dass es "piko bello" funktioniert. Zwar sehe ich den Bootvorgang nicht -- weil die Treiber des Displays erst nach dem Hochfahren des Betriebssystems geladen werden -- aber funktionieren tuts trotzdem. Das Fahrzeug ist ein VW Sharan. Unter dem Radio ist noch ein Ablagefach, was sich am ende perfekt für das Gestell des Displays erwiesen hat. Ich musste nur die Füße des Displays in das Fach klemmen und das Display war stabil ohne zu bohren und zu schrauben. Bin zufrieden.
