The Intel® Desktop Board D201GLY2 is an innovative solution for the sub-value market segment. With an Intel® Celeron® processor and graphics integrated on the board, this board enables easy system integration and helps you to achieve a lower system cost. This board has 10/100 LAN, support up to six Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports and 2 SATA (1.5 GB/s), providing both connectivity and ease of use for your computing needs such as email and Internet access, instant messaging and Voice Over IP (VoIP).
The Intel Desktop Board D201GLY2 is built in smaller uATX-Compatible form factor providing lower power consumption and passive thermal solution.

Ich hätte mir gewünscht das dieses passiv gekühle Board weniger heiß wird. Vielleicht wäre das VIA Board die bessere (grünere) Alternative gewesen. Aber es funktioniert einwandfrei!!

Super günstig, wenn auch nicht das schnellste Board.
Schneller ist derzeit z.b. das Mini ITX Board mit Dualcore ATOM CPU! Kostet auch nicht viel mehr.

Relativ schnell, der Desktop-Chipsatz heizt sich wenn das
Board frei steht bis auf 85°C auf. Mit einem etwas
größeren Kühlkörper wäre das kein Problem. So ist das
Board für mich nicht zu gebrauchen.

Bonne machine, cependant un peu dépassée par celle intégrant un processeur Atom a la place de ce vieillissant Celeron.
Elle offre cependant l'avantage indéniable de pouvoir fonctionner entièrement en passif, sans risque pour le système.
Veillez tout de même gardez une petite aération pour éviter a l'air réchauffer de trop stagner...

Das Mainboard hat mich überrascht. Entgegen den Herstellerspezifikationen (max 1GB Arbeitsspeicher) unterstützt dieses Mainboard auch
den 2GB Riegel den ich "als versehen" bestellt habe. (Habe die Spezifikationen nicht richtig durchgelesen). Der 2GB Arbeistspeicher
Riegel wird anstandslos im BIOS erkannt und bis dato noch keinerlei Probleme. Das einzige Manko dabei ist das in Windows nur 1,87 GB Ram
erkannt werden. Allerdings ist die Passive Kühlung vielleicht nicht
unbedingt das gelbe vom Ei. In einer Testsession (ausserhalb des Gehäuses) wurde der Prozessor laut BIOS in den ersten minuten schon
stolze 45°C warm. Ebenso der Northbridge kühlkörper. Darauf konnte man nach kurzer Zeit Eier braten. Ich Empfehle dennoch die Passive
lösung, weil es recht einfach ist einen kleinen lüfter an die SEITE des Kühlers zu schrauben. Das hat den Vorteil das der Prozessor nicht in seinem eigenen Sud
schwimmt, wie z.B. bei version dieses Mainboards MIT Lüfter, und die kühlung dadurch effektiver wird.
