The Intel® Desktop Board D201GLY2 is an innovative solution for the sub-value market segment. With an Intel® Celeron® processor and graphics integrated on the board, this board enables easy system integration and helps you to achieve a lower system cost. This board has 10/100 LAN, support up to six Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports and 2 SATA (1.5 GB/s), providing both connectivity and ease of use for your computing needs such as email and Internet access, instant messaging and Voice Over IP (VoIP).
The Intel Desktop Board D201GLY2 is built in smaller uATX-Compatible form factor providing lower power consumption and passive thermal solution.

Excellent power / price ratio. In fact, this card offers a higher power than card type VIA EPIA, while remaining significantly cheaper.
But a problem remains: the chipset SIS 662 also manages the graphics, excluding any driver 3D acceleration is available under linuX OS.
But everything else is fully functional under Linux, as well as Windows XP. Consumption is a little higher than the EPIA cards, while remaining still quite low, allowing the use of food Pico-PSU 80w and 120w if you use a CD player and a hard disk.

my first think about ts was "could it realy work for that price" i'm realy stisfied it works an realy hard and well 24 hour a day as a small internet server, it olaso play HD divX with thoso lot of active services without any problems

I bought this board for its power efficiency versus its price. I received in on Tuesday while I placed the order on Sunday and choose the slowest delivery mean (to Belgium). I contacted CarTFT for an error (from my side) in my order and got a reply within one hour !
This board will be used as a MythTV backend/frontend. I will send pictures and the URL to the wiki describing my configuration to CarTFT in a few weeks.
Thanks to CarTFT for their seriousness.

Liegt mit ca. 24W in etwa auf der Höhe der VIA Boards, kostet dafür aber nur einen Bruchteil, was auch diverse Testberichte bestätigen, einfach mal nach dem Namen des Boards googlen. Klappt sowohl unter Windows XP, also auch Ubuntu einwandfrei. Daher absolute Kaufempfehlung!

I was looking for a board to assemble a 100% silent PC to use as mediaplayer in the stereo. I've chosen this board because it's fanless and extremely cheap for a mini-ITX. I use it with a pico-PSU for which I had to cut a part out of the USB-RJ45-connector, but that doesn't harm the mobo. You could also use an extension cable if you don't like to mill your mobo. Together with a compact-flash and convertor to IDE it is a completely noiseless PC. You need the LEDs to see if it's running.
The board is a bit slow to boot (20 seconds), but once running it's great. No problems with Xubuntu. No problems with wireless through USB. I can recommend it for 100%.
